Jonalisa Ware

Jonalisa Ware is a case manager and social work student intern with Youth Radio's Mind Body Health Center. Originally from Los Angeles, Jonalisa is now a graduating senior at San Francisco State University in the School of Social Work. Jonalisa has served African immigrants, children, and youth in San Francisco and Los Angeles and recently spent five weeks in Ghana doing international social work.

Matthew Holt

Matthew Holt is a senior at San Francisco State University where he is studying to obtain his Bachelor’s Degree in Social Work. Born in Berkeley and raised in Oakland, Matthew has a full family background. He is the fifth of twelve children in his family; six of whom have been adopted. Through his familial experience with the foster system, work with his father’s church and other social service agencies in Oakland, Matthew has worked with many populations including children with special needs, the elderly, homeless and people with physical and mental disabilities.

Jenny Lowe

Jenny Lowe is in her second year of the concurrent Master’s in Social Work and Public Health program at U.C. Berkeley. Before returning to school, Jenny worked for a nutrition and physical activity promotion program for at-risk youth in San Francisco. Jenny also has experience teaching nutrition workshops for community based agencies through out Alameda County. She has a B.A. in Psychology from University of Puget Sound.
