Best Local Radio Show

Youth Radio wins San Francisco Bay Guardian's
Best of the Bay "Best Local Radio Show." Here's what the Guardian had to say about Youth Radio:

If you' re sick of listening to cheesy mainstream radio shows, try "Youth Radio All Stars," which airs on KPFB (89.3 FM), a Berkeley station, every Thursday from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m. The show is produced by students, ages 14 through 20, who are still learning the tricks of the radio trade at Youth Radio, a nonprofit organization that brings youth perspectives to the air. The show features a diverse selection of music ranging from mainstream rock to local underground hip-hop. The students also write their own commentaries and public service announcements. Warning: All commentary is authentic; you will not hear played-out radio personalities trying to make a buck.
