Camp Sweeney
Building on our commitment to serve incarcerated youth, Youth Radio offers training and classes for young men, ages 14-17, at Camp Sweeney in San Leandro, California.
Each outreach team, professional staff and peer educator teaches basic radio broadcasting music mixing, and commentary writing. At the end of the eight-week session they produce a public affairs program that is aired on KPFB and Youth Radio’s web radio station.
