What is a Webby Award?

Presented by The International Academy of Digital Arts and Sciences, the Webby Awards are well known in the press and Internet community as the "Oscars" of the web. For the past six years, the best websites have been recognized by the Webby Awards. Winning a Webby is a nod towards excellence in content, structure and navigation, visual design, functionality, interactivity, and overall experience.

What does it mean for Youth Radio?

Youth Radio is pleased to be nominated for our second Webby Award in two years. It is exciting to know that all of the creativity and hard work our students have put into our website is being acknowledged and honored. Last year other nominees included websites for the BBC and Fresh Air. This year, the nominees include the BBC and Transom.

How can you help us?
