Conservative Punks for Bush
When you think of a Bush supporter, who comes to mind? The old man with lots of money or a young punk with many tattoos and earrings? Youth Radio’s Enrique Rivera recently found out at the RNC that Bush supporters come in all shapes, sizes and styles, especially one group known as “Conservative Punk". (September 2 on NPR's Morning Edition)

Blogs from RNC '04
"I was in the midst of a protest, with a bunch of posers in fake diamonds and furs. I stood in the middle of Central Station, utterly flabbergasted. I was shocked. How could these mere mortals deceive an intelligent man like me?"
By DeSean Robinson-Walker

Billionaires for Bush
Youth Radio's DeSean Robinson-Walker interviewed Morly Bankrupt and Mr. Money Bags, two members of a group called “Billionaires for Bush.” Contrary to their group name, these two characters are actually anti-Republican protest performers.

Tactical Tensions
As the RNC gets underway, we’ll see how the widely hyped protests in NYC will play out, and who they will benefit – liberals or conservatives. Youth Radio’s Chelsea Vargas spoke with various Bush opponents before the convention to find out about the different ways they were planning to make their voices heard.

Why New York?
This election, the Republican National Convention is set in New York City from August 30-September 2. Youth Radio's Mike Oseroff asks the trivial question, "Why New York?" He says, "I, as well as tens of thousands of others, feel it is just an obvious attempt for Bush to highlight his 'heroic' War on Terrorism."
