Curt Flood: EPMD is the vision of two men who were tired of how sports and hip hop were being portrayed in the media. EYS and Pat The Aristocrat launched a radio show that highlights great hip hop music as well as thoughtful (and often hilarious) discourse on sports. On each show, EYS and The Aristocrat play hip hop songs containing classic sports references. Those references help shape the day's discussions. The show can be heard on the last Monday of each month on the Youth Radio Itunes Radio Stream from 1 to 2 PM PST. Just look for Youth Radio under Urban, Public and Eclectic. With an aim in changing the game, it was only fitting that the show be named after a man whose revolutionary actions changed professional sports forever (or better or worse depending on who you ask).
