Speaking in near-perfect Italian, Knox told the jurors,
"I am scared of being branded what I am not..."
I don’t know what to think or how to feel about the situation because one, it didn’t happen in the States so I don’t really know what happened; two, the case against Knox was supported by enough evidence; and three, I don’t know how exactly the justice system works in Italy. I mean, come on now, Knox is an American, and to my knowledge most foreign countries don’t like America. So if she is innocent, she is still guilty of being an American. It's hard to separate fact from drama and politics in this case. Complicating matters, is the press. When I read an article from a British publication, it seems like Knox is guilty, but when I read an article from an American paper, it seems like she is the victim.
