Get Your Green On!

On Saturday, December 13th, over 600 youth attended the City of Los Angeles Environmental Youth Conference at the L.A. Convention Center.  Teens from all over the city were able to explore how fun being environmentally conscious can be. Lots of excited youth learned about recycling, climate change, beach clean-ups, air quality was exiting.
All through out the conference the sentiment for preservation and action was flowing through the active minds of the teens who asked questions about things like marine wild life or the lack of green spaces in the city of L.A.
The most popular segment of the conference was the environmental resource fair where teens were able to sign up and volunteer with a large number of environmental justice organizations.
