Our friends at Scoop 44 have posted this amazing commentary by "Maryam Motevali Asadi"- a pseudonym to protect the author from government retrobution- on their site. It really manages to put the days leading up to the election and its aftermath into perspective:

I can’t believe it was just one week ago that we were all dancing and singing in the streets. Mousavi was winning, and we all knew it. The country was green throughout. I convinced many of my friends to vote, too. Because this time was different.

For more from inside Iran check out the posts by our own Ankitha Bharadwaj. Ankitha is corresponding with a young woman we're calling "Bani" about what she's experienced over the last few days.
