It's Snowing in Oakland

This week Skyline High School students were bombarded with heavy hail. My physiology teacher, Ms.B-Dub, exclaimed “I haven’t seen that much hail in six years!”

As I recall from that day there was at least a quarter inch of ice on the ground. Now this may not be a lot compared to cities like Rochester, New York that sees 92.3 inches of snow annually. But the fact that the Bay Area is seeing snow is quite unusual. Aside from seeing students chuck each other with snowballs, the 30-minute snow sprinkle was a sight to remember.

Cool!

Nice! That's like having a heatwave in Antarctica. I'm going up there to check it out while it's still there.
