Have you ever gotten your wallet stolen? I have and so has Steve Cabouli, creator of iWallet.

The iWallet is a bulletproof, high tech wallet with a hard case construction, biometric fingerprint reader access, and bluetooth technology that allows it to pair with select cellular phones as a theft deterrant. I’m not too impressed by the design of the wallet, but I do like the biometric fingerprint reader. It makes it very tech-y and worth the $299.

I’m still having a hard time understanding why people would use a bulletproof wallet, but I guess if you live in Oakland—ranked third most crime-ridden city in the U.S.—there is a need. Watch the video below to get a better understanding on how the iWallet works.
