On Valentine's Day the world's longest married couple will be taking relationship questions on Twitter. Herbert and Zelmyra Fisher from North Carolina are the Guinness World Record holders for having the longest lasting marriage. The couple exchanged vows back in 1924 and have five children, ten grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren. The couple is using sites like Facebook and Twitter to promote healthy and long-lasting relationships.
The online initiative was created by UK-based online TV and Film provider, blinkbox (www.blinkbox.com) to celebrate great Valentine's movies past and present. In conjunction with this, on Valentine’s Day (February 14th) Herbert and Zalmyra (104 and 102 respectively), will embrace modern technology to answer 14 questions submitted via Twitter (@longestmarried) on the secrets behind the success of their 85-year marriage, and to offer advice to (much) younger couples keen to emulate their own remarkable achievement.

This May the couple will be celebrating 86 years of marriage. They are only one year away from having the longest marriage in history. Currently, Philipose and Sosamma Thomas of India hold the title of 86 years and 128 days of marriage.
Make sure to submit your questions by February 12th, I know I’ll be submitting my questions.
