STDs Making An Unwanted Comeback Amongst Teen Girls

Uh. Oh.
Teen girls aged 15 to 19 accounted for the largest number (409,531) of the 1.5 million reported chlamydia and gonorrhea cases in the United States in 2008, followed by women aged 20 to 24, according to an annual federal report released Monday.
The annual Sexually Transmitted Disease Surveillance report for 2008 has even worse news for African-Americans, with gonorrhea rates higher than any other ethnicity- a full 20 times higher than amongst Caucasians.
With almost half of the 19 million new STD cases in the United States occurring among the 15-24 year old set, it's never a bad time to be safe.
