The Gang Promoting, Head Bashing, Police Officer

So we’ve all heard the expression that the police are just another big gang roaming the streets with the rest of them… Nothing but a bunch of angry guys with guns, dressed in blue, going around and beating people up with the ultimate “end of the day” purpose of getting money. The only difference between that description and how one might describe a well known gang such as the Crips, is cops' money comes in the form of a taxed pay check, and the Crips pay check, well, is more of an under the table paper bag type business. Now, I’m not ignorant enough to suggest that there is no need for the “boys in blue”. I am confident that chaos would erupt like Mount St. Helen if there were ever to be a sudden alien abduction of every single police officer in America. I am sure that there are some decent cops out there, who truly want to help make their city become a better place, but I just haven’t met one yet.

The officers I come across are usually more like George Fierro, who after the pursuit of an alleged gang member kicked him multiple times in the head while other officers ran up and continued to hit and punch the suspect, who, by the way, was laying face down surrendering. As it turns out, this George Fierro gang member, excuse me, police officer, has a side hustle. According to the Whittier Daily News, he is also the owner of Torcido Clothing, “a clothing company that glorifies gang and prison life”. That’s some hypocritical cow crap if you ask me. According to their website, Torcido Clothing, "features some of the hardest authentic jail house threads for the streets. Straight from East L.A., Califas ..."

Oh yes, the story does get even crazier. George Fierro is not only a gang-promoting, head smashing, officer of the law; he is also, as reported in different words by the Whittier Daily News, an in-house police snitch, if you will. They say that Fierro has filed a lawsuit against the El Monte Police Department claiming that because he, the guy who plays soccer with human heads, has repeatedly reported the criminal behavior of other officers, he was refused promotion in the department. If that last couple of sentences were a little confusing, let me repeat the issues with a few bullet points (no pun intended).

-George Fierro is a cop.

-George Fierro has been telling on his fellow gang members, I mean officers, for criminal behavior they have taken part in.

-Because George Fierro snitched on his fellow officers, they will not promote him.

-So now George Fierro is suing the police department.

-While all this is going on, he owns and operates a clothing line that promotes gang activity.

-And he is kicking gang members repeatedly on the head while they lay face down ready to surrender.

I know in life it’s sometimes hard to pick a side, but this guy is like the Four Corners Monument of police. He dabbles in a little bit of everything, and none of it compliments each other. You can’t promote gangs and be a cop. You can’t be in a gang and snitch. And on and on it goes, just switch the word in the sentence. When it comes down to it, we as citizens have to watch the cops like they watch us. We cannot let them get away with the same crimes they lock us up for just because they have that phony little badge on their chest. Whether we’re talking about the murder of Oscar Grant by BART Officer Johannes Mehserle, or the heavy-footed George Fierro and friends, they are no better, if not worse than the people they are “patrolling”. After all, everything is on tape now, and the world is watching.

They both deserve prison.

The cop for attempted murder.

POLICE

I believe the police get away with a lot of brutality. This police violence need to stop. They killed Oscar Grant for no reason, and that was scandalous. People should fight for whats right and kick some sense into these ignorant officers! -peace

Alleged gang member? More

Alleged gang member? More like upstanding, taxpaying, good all around person who deserves sainthood.....people like him, yes, that's who needs protecting....poor victims who don't have to take responsiblity for their actions....after all, they have all the bleeding heart defenders by their side. We live in such a fine society, that this poor citizen did not deserve bad treatment. After all, if the situation were reversed, I'm sure, he would treat others in a much more respectful way.
