More than Media…
Youth Radio is committed to improving the lives of young people in every way…

All teens who come through our doors receive opportunities in broadcast journalism, radio, video, music and web production, engineering, media advocacy and literacy. Using new media and technology as a "hook",Youth Radio provides stable, long-term guidance for youth as they transition from middle to high school, from high school to college, and into meaningful career paths. Graduates of Youth Radio's Bridge and MATCH programs are eligible for internships. Viewed internally as the advanced stage of training, internships are available throughout Youth Radio in the Education/Workforce, Media, Tech, and Health Departments. Interns are hired quarterly through a competitive application process. Currently, Youth Radio employs more than 65 youth as paid interns!

Interested in supporting our Workforce Development Program? By donating to Youth Radio Works, all funds will go directly to providing workforce development and training to the young people of Youth Radio. Learn more about Youth Radio Provides, our directed giving program.
