I live in a group home in Los Angeles. My mom lives in Arizona with her husband. This is how I got where I am now.
My family and me used to live in Lancaster, north of Los Angeles, then one day
we lost our house because I guess my mom didn't want to pay the bills. Me and
my girlfriend and my family, we went to Los Angeles to go stay at my aunt's
house for a while.
Later, my mom and her husband went to Arizona to go look for a house. They left me and my brothers and sisters and my girlfriend. My mom came back a week later, and the next day we went to Lancaster to fill out some paperwork. When we were in Lancaster, I asked my mom if I could go to my friend’s house. She said, “Okay, but you have to meet me back at the train station at 5:00pm.” But I lost track of time. That night, she called from Los Angeles, and she was mad at me. She was saying I needed to go back to Los Angeles that night, but I didn't have a ride. She kept on saying the same thing over and over again. She made me mad, and I said I would be there tomorrow, and I hung up the phone.
The next day I went back to Los Angeles. I got there at night, and I went back to my aunt's house where we were staying, but no one was there. So I went to my other aunt's house and I stayed there for the night. The next morning, I went back to my aunt's house where my family was staying, but I didn't see my mom or brother and sisters. My aunt told me that my mom's husband had come and picked them up the day before. So now my family is in Arizona. And I'm here, without them.
