Sometimes I Wonder

By Jordan Monroe

Sometimes I wonder if time will ever slow down and let me catch up. It's hard to take time when the world's in a rush.
Sometimes I wonder if it would be best if I stressed less did like the hare and just rest to catch my breath.
And though I have little time to solitarily sit and reflect I must confess, sometimes I wonder.
Sometimes I wonder what will become of me when I leave my nest. Will I fall or will I fly destined for success. Sometimes I wonder if I look like the rest by wearing the typical dress.
Sometimes I wonder if I was put to the test, thrown in bondage and told not to second guess or be put to death by those who oppress, would my mind tell my body to wander though the consequence could cause my soul to sore. Till heaven bound through the gates of eternal life, I will wonder till my heart beats no more.
