Kids in Gangs

"Kids in gangs need to stop what they are doing."

Listen to this Commentary!

By Jonathan Amezola

Kids should not be in a gang. Those who are in a gang like SUR13 OR LRZ cause problems. They don't listen to their parents and get into fights with other kids. Kids in gangs need to stop what they are doing. My cousin tried to get me to join a gang, but I will never join. The boyfriend of my cousin was sent to jail, and I don't want that to happen to me. He liked to spray paint his gang's name all over walls everywhere and he wanted me to join too. He says it would make me cool and I could smoke weed and do drugs if I joined the gang. I am strong and said 'no', I don't want to join. So, now he never talks to me anymore and that's great.
