When I think jerking, I think about the New Boyz and their smash hit “You’re a Jerk.” Since that dropped people have been trying to keep the jerk moment alive by making their own jerking music. Now there is one female artist making her name as a jerk-er: Keke Palmer. Palmer isn’t new to the entertainment industry. She became famous with her performance in the 2006 film Akeelah and the Bee and currently stars in the Nickelodeon sitcom True Jackson, VP.

Palmer is promoting her new jerking song title “Super Jerkin.” She keeps the jerking tradition of heavy bass in her song but the one thing that sets this song apart from the rest is the autotune. From looks of her YouTube comments, her song is making it’s way into peoples ears fairly quickly.

How do you like this autotune jerk song?

This pretty much sums up my feeling about the autotune phase that hiphop is going through. And in the majesty of song no doubt. Thank you B.O.B. and BuzzCuts.
