Another dance sensation has become a hit on YouTube, Dougie. This dance has the potential—if not already—to top Jerkin’s popularity. People are posting their “teach me how to Dougie” videos and getting thousands of hits. Even Chris Brown is going around teaching people how to Dougie.

The Inglewood group, Cali Swag District, is getting major play at clubs with their first single, which has reached Number 1 on Billboard Heatseekers. The dance move is not difficult. All you have to do is put your arms in front and lean side-to-side. But if you still aren’t sure how to Dougie, check out the videos below. Also, check out an exclusive interview with the group on All Day Play

On Sunday Chris Brown sparked a Twitter buzz during his tribute to the king of pop Michael Jackson at the BET awards. Brown performed Michael Jackson’s memorable moves. But it wasn’t the dancing that caught people's attention. It was Chris Brown's break down while singing “Man in the Mirror” that caused the stir.

Brown broke down into tears and at one point he fell to his knees. Brown received a standing ovation for his performance.

The R&B singer needed the boost -- he's been out of the spotlight since he pleaded guilty and was sentenced to six months of community labor and five years of probation for beating his ex-girlfriend and pop artist Rihanna.

The singer was also announced the surprise winner of BET’s Fandemonium award, a prize determined by fan votes. Chris Brown addressed his followers by saying “I let you all down before, but I won’t do it again…I promise you.”

Will Chris Brown tears at the BET Awards help boost his career again?

Chris Brown has officially apologized for assaulting his former girlfriend, Rihanna. Brown was convicted of assault and making criminal threats after pleading guilty to the February 8 attack. Brown officially apologized to Rihanna as well as the public through a YouTube video. Brown said the following about how the ordeal has changed him:

"I think just being -- I would say ridiculed, but just criticized and -- and scrutinized by a lot of people. And just being able to see who I am as a person, it just shaped me to be a more stronger and -- better young, black male," (via ABC News)

Chris Brown may be apologizing, but the fact of his action still remains. In light of what he did, it seems much more likely that public scrutiny is what caused his apology as opposed to genuine sincerity. So what is the message that role-model Chris Brown is trying to convey? That we are responsible only for what the tabloids write about… nice try Mr. Brown.

Chris Brown's first interview since he beat up Rihanna, will air this Wednesday night on Larry King Live. America is eager to hear from the R&B stars mouth exactly three things: "W! T! F!" Judging from a preview of the interview with the 20-year old Brown sandwiched between his mother Joyce Hawkins and lawyer Mark Geragos, it looks like he's not going to offer up any real explanation. We will get to hear exactly what type of emotional trauma from his childhood (which his mother should expound upon) led up to what his loved ones call "strange behavior".

But, honestly, who cares about that? The real question at hand is: can he come back from this devastating blow to his "good boy" image and maintain a career as an entertainer? Pop culture history gives us some examples to look at here.

You’ve heard the news and followed the trial. We hung on to every development. We posted comments on numerous articles, adding drops of water into the oceans of commentary. These perpetrators of crime were not like those we’ve come across in the streets or in news reports that lead the hour; these perps are famous. We’ve known them before they committed their crimes. They slipped into the back of our subconscious as they began serving their sentences. When these folks are released, having paid their debts to society, it’s as though they never left prison. We write them off as renegades. They may have served their time, but they are never released from the stigma of their crimes.
