Friday February 27th was the first of three days the Washington DC convention center would play host to the Powershift Conference 2009. At the Democratic National Convention 2008, Youth Radio’s Nico Savidge approached Montana Governor Brian Schweitzer and asked him, "What was your most memorable political encounter with a young person this year?" Brian Schweitzer had this hilariously humble response.

Radio row at the Republican National Convention is basically a frenzied lobby where all these hosts compete to be the loudest and clearest voice in the room. One baby-faced guy with a mic stands out.
