(download mp3)I'm glad that someone covers this

The Israeli Palestinian Conflict is a very important issue in my opinion and I'm glad that youth radio covers it without really taking a side (so far from what I've seen). Setting a political view aside, it seems you have gone to the heart of whom it is really affecting. Among some kids today it seems like certain global humanitarian issues and other problems go in and out of awareness like fads. I've seen so many people at my school sporting a "Stop Genocide in Sudan" t shirt who are unable to really discuss the issue itself, in fact even I myself have been unable to find good articles on certain issues that aren't convoluted with political subterfuge that leaves me almost less aware after reading it. Coverage like this encourages a better way for a teen to find a truer awareness in global issues. : )

My one obsession these days is to find a way to publicize the fact that Israel cannot continue to think they have carte blanche in bombing Gaza. I am personally outraged, and I am certain that there are many who agree. They cannot continue to wear the mantle of "Victimhood" and also continue to cause such devastation. There must be consequences, and the most obvious is to REFUSE to ever again buy a product or foodstuff that comes from Israel. A world citizen "boycott" of whatever Israel exports. Lets do it today and do it in the future!!
So..exactly what did you expect?

You had it. Gaza was unoccupied! You could have made it another Singapore or Qutar. Hamas has repaid Israel's complete evacuation of the Gaza Strip with a rocket, missile and mortar campaign against Israel's southern communities; 5,600 have been fired since August 2005, 3,000 in the last year alone. Today, half a million Israelis are living within range and only sheer good fortune has prevented mass casualties.
Hamas Charter’s declaration: “[Peace] initiatives, the so-called peaceful solutions, and the international conferences to resolve the Palestinian problem, are all contrary to the beliefs of the Islamic Resistance Movement.” But the body of the Hamas Covenant includes unequivocal statements of Hamas’ irredentist commitment to the annihilation of Israel via jihad. Jihad martyrdom is lauded in article 8 “the Hamas slogan,” ,which states, “Allah is its target, the Prophet is its model, the Koran its Constitution; Jihad is its path, and death for the sake of Allah is the loftiest of its wishes.” Article 13 makes plain that Hamas’ jihadism is completely incompatible with any meaningful Middle East peace settlement.
The people of Gza made a decision. Stop playing the victim card and take responsability for your actions!
We expect justice to prevail, and the savage zionism to stop

Although I would have rather not dignified your ridiculous comment with a response, but let me remind you that Gaza was unoccupied, but was under full siege by the Israeli army. We don't play the victims card (something you have been doing and exploiting the Europeans and Americans for the "holocaust" for 70 years). You just mentioned that you are victims of the rockets that killed 5 or 6, (by sheer good fortune, what a joke) while you killed more than 1300 in 3 weeks. Unlike you, Palestinians will not surrender to the "new Nazi", also known as Israel. You are probably wondering why such people would resist. It is simply because they are the people of the Land, and you are the rubbers/criminals that will be brought to justice sooner or later.
