The Believe in New Mexico Girls SLAM Conference took place from October 16th-17th, 2009 in the Student Union Building at the University of New Mexico. The conference was put together by the New Mexico Girls Institute, a program of the New Mexico Commission on the Status of Women and brought together female leaders with young teenage women from throughout New Mexico.
