This is an issue I would like to hear the wealth of yr message board members speak on.

How do you all feel about hair. When I say hair I specifically mean the hair of black people in the world and their choices about what to do with it. What does it mean? Should it mean anything? what do you think, i'm hella curious.

I love seeing all the different hair styles at YR! Permed, pressed, curly, natural, braids, locks....it's ALL GOOD. Black people know how to work some hair girl! Hair is not all that it is cracked up to be. But then again, it does have the power to make, or break and outfit.....People even look at your hair to see where your mind is. If it's straightened, then you may not be as "down" as the brotha with the locks (how stupid is that?!). On the real though, I guess hair is important. So, all you peeps out there with the tight *** hair-dues, keep on treckin!

p.s. just cause I wear braids, doesn't mean that I think I'm Brandy. And also... ladies: (from all walks of life, all shades of the rainbow)The FRENCH ROLL, is NOT, I repeat IS NOT your friend.

I think it's funny when the Donnas have a sleepover and everyone has to wrap her head except for me. But I wore a "thuglife" emblazoned bandana just to be included, because Brooke doesn't like me because I'm not black. (hee hee)

i like it when it's kinda poufy on the sides because then with your glasses you look like beast from x-men and it's really cool and intimidating.
