Paul Anka Lee

Fall 1996

While still at De Anza High in San Pablo, Anka mobilized students and the media to successfully put pressure on school officials to fix the school's bathrooms. He has since worked as an intern at the San Francisco Chronicle and at KTVU-TV in Oakland. When he attended the University of California at Berkeley, he was head of the campus Democrats. Currently Anka is working in Sacramento as a Senate Fellow, working as a policy analyst/consultant for Sen. Sheila Kuehl.
