Whiz is Broadcast Training Director at Youth Radio, overseeing the radio shows "Youth In Control" and "Youth Radio All-Stars." He was instrumental in bringing Youth Radio the "Best of The Bay" Award from the San Francisco Bay Guardian. Among many other duties, Whiz heads up our recruitment and is the organization's spokesperson. He was part of the video team that produced "Double Eyelids," which ran statewide on the PBS program "California Connected." Whiz has held a number of outside internships, is a senior at San Francisco State University, and has contributed to Youth Radio's many awards. In May, 2002, Whiz represented Youth Radio at the Peabody Awards ceremony in New York City.
