Finnegan Hamill

Summer 1997

As a senior at Berkeley High School, Finnie became famous worldwide for the Youth Radio-produced series "E-Mails From Kosovo," which documented his correspondence with "Adona" a young girl living in the midst of the NATO bombings. For that series, Youth Radio won the prestigious duPont/Columbia Silver Baton for Excellence in Journalism. Finnie attends Harvard, and is studying political science.
