Reina Gonzales

Summer 1999

Reina attends the University of Wisconsin. Her feature, "Growing Up With Judy Blume," was published by the Loose Leaf Publishing Company and another feature, "Summer School," was part of Youth Radio's "Making The Grade" series which won the Edward R. Murrow Award from the Radio and Television News Directors Association and the John Swett Award from the California Teachers Association. Reina is a director for Madison City Channel 12, which broadcasts all of the government meetings and political events in the area. In the summer of 2003, she worked at Youth Radio as an associate producer.
